Are you an independent artist, band, or singer-songwriter looking for a music blog to feature your latest release? I'd love to hear from you!

WAALT is an Austin-based music blog dedicated to discovering emerging artists, sharing new music, writing album and single reviews, and highlighting some of my favorite bands performing at ACL Festival and beyond.

I'm always looking for great new music, so feel free to email your latest single, EP, album, press release, or electronic press kit (EPK). While I can't promise I'll be able to feature every submission or reply to every email, I genuinely do my best to listen whenever I have the opportunity.

My taste in music is pretty broad. I especially enjoy indie rock, alternative, dream pop, garage rock, folk, Americana, blues, psychedelic rock, and singer-songwriters. While rap and mainstream country aren't typically my go-to genres, I'm always open to discovering something that surprises me.

If your music is a good fit for the blog, I'll absolutely reach out. Please be patient with timing, though. WAALT is a passion project that I run outside of my full-time job and life with my two kids. Sometimes I'll send interview requests to several artists at once, and they all come back around the same time, creating a backlog of reviews, interviews (Q&A), and artist features waiting to be written.

Every artist I feature deserves thoughtful coverage, and I'd rather take the time to write something meaningful than rush a post just to publish quickly.
